Jeananne Reich, Professional Development Manager
Jeananne has been with AYS since 1997 and she has a passion for training both youth and adults. She is a graduate of Hope College, Holland, MI, with a B.A. in psychology/sociology. Instructor certifications include American Heart Association first aid/ CPR and Safe Sitter ®. Her career at AYS began as a program director before moving into administration. Other youth experience includes transitional living and substance abuse counseling.
Outside of AYS she is involved with Girl Scouts and Prevent Child Abuse of Indiana. As director of training for AYS, Jeananne oversees the Professional Development Center. The PDC is responsible for all training needs of AYS staff and is open to the public. The PDC has a regular schedule of first aid/CPR classes and afterschool programming workshops. Classes are held both in the training room at AYS and at local agencies and schools to meet the needs of the community.
