Discounts: Faculty (25%), Military (10%), Full Semester* (7%), Multi-Child** (5%)

*AYS offers a 7% discount to parents who pay tuition in full for the entire semester. Payment must be received prior to the start of the fall or spring semester.

**Families with three or more children enrolled in AYS will receive an automatic 5% discount per child.

Financial Assistance: AYS accepts CCDF vouchers. AYS also offers limited financial assistance awards on a first-come, first-served basis. Eligibility is based on household income and employment status. For financial assistance information please contact registrar@ayskids.org or 317-283-3817.

Program: Curriculum focuses on health, literacy, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), and SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) through homework help; gym and outdoor recrea­tion; group games and activities; enrichment opportunities. More info at www.ayskids.org/school-programs.

Staff: All AYS staff pass through an exhaustive screening process, including a comprehensive criminal history check, checks against the national sex offender list, a drug screen, and a negative TB test. In addition, staff participate in new employee orientation, receive child abuse prevention training, safety and risk management training, are certified in CPR/First Aid, and attend ongoing trainings in various areas to ensure that all AYS staff are best equipped to work with children.

Days of Operation: AYS is open on all regular school days and early release days. AYS is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Snacks: AYS strives to serve nutrient-dense snacks and children will be encouraged to try new foods. A snack menu is posted at the program. Children with food allergies must have a completed Plan of Care form on file with AYS. AYS participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program. There will be no discrimination during snack service.

Homework: Children will have homework time/support Monday through Thursday. A variety of reading materials or quiet activity stations will be available for children without homework assignments. Each Friday, homework time will be replaced with extended enrichment activities related directly to the core curriculum areas.

Annual Enrollment: Parents are encouraged to enroll their children online. A non-refundable enrollment fee per child and immunization records are required for enrollment to be complete. Parents are required to submit applicable Plan of Care and/or Medication Consent forms. Enroll today at www.ayskids.org/enroll.

Payment Options: Payments are accepted online by credit card or bank account. We are unable to take payments at the program site. In special circumstances, we may accept money orders at our administrative office; however, arrangements for this must be in advance. Please contact us at registrar@ayskids.org for more information.
