I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology and I went to the IUPUI School of Philanthropy.
I was the Executive Vice President of Indiana State Fair Commission and oversaw Marketing, HR, Development, etc.
My first career job was the Educator/Curator of Science for The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. I oversaw the ScienceGallery and taught youth volunteers how to teach natural history and science as well as engaged teachers on how to teach natural history and science. I also taught for IUPUI on how to use museums to enrich education.
I am outside more than inside! I mountain bike, ski, canoe, and backpack regularly. I even climbed the third highest peak in North America once. I’m an avid and compulsive reader. I read everything, but have a special place in my heart for authors Conn Iggulden, Hunter S. Thompson, Tom Robbins, James Joyce, and Earnest Hemingway. I am also a huge fan of music—all kinds really but bluegrass, jam bands, and mid 20th century style blues get my attention most easily.
