Nora Elementary School will host our 2026 Art with a Heart Spring Days camp! At Art with a Heart, campers will immerse themselves in the art experience by participating in activities inspired by famous artists such as Van Gogh, George Seurat, Alma Thomas, Picasso, Jackson Pollock, and Takashi Murakami.
Campers will also try their hand at other art activities throughout the week. Specific art pieces will include a Starry Night hot air balloon, a pointillism dot painting, a cubism activity, and a drip painting.
During camp, Arts for Learning Indiana artist Giselle Trujillo, will be conducting her Art is Around the Corner program. Campers will create art pieces from recycled materials, along with clay, paint, wire, and other professional art materials, connecting to their environment and learning about how to use creative self-expression as a method for reducing waste. Campers will attend a field trip to the Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA) where they can expect to take in a variety of mediums and styles of professional artwork.
